Hi! I’m Maggie Butler.
I’m a mixed media artist based in Seattle, Washington. My diverse practice spans art direction, lettering, illustration, graphic design, collaging, printmaking, mural painting and sometimes writing—blending digital and traditional art.
My work focuses on identity, nostalgia, connection and community. Drawing inspiration from the stories we tell and the materials we leave behind, I create art that weaves together the past and present and explores our roles in society. I like to experiment with recycled and found materials to reduce environmental impact and give new life to items that would otherwise be discarded.
I love to work with clients in the food, beverage, music and entertainment industries, and also take on purpose-driven projects that address things like environmental causes, food waste, and social justice.
When I’m not working, you can find me with my nose in a book (at Silent Book Club!), at a concert, cheering on the Green Bay Packers, or enjoying the great outdoors on a hike or by the water. I always appreciate a good restaurant recommendation and am known to plan my travel itineraries around food.
